I just went to Girl's Camp and had a great time! We had Ward Girl's Camp this year instead of Stake Camp and it was so much better than I ever expected. We did Skits, some hard hikes, a lot of time reading the scriptures and writing in our journals, and did some fun crafts. I think everyone said their testimony had grown more in those 3 days than when we go to Stake Camp. Hopefully they have Ward Camp again next year--it was the greatest camp I've ever been to, and I'm so happy I was able to go as an Assistant Camp Director, but will miss going next year with all the girls I have learned to love so much!
I can't wait for the rest of summer to come! I get to go to Canada to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in a few weeks, and I am super excited! I love going to Canada and seeing my great family! Especially since all of us haven't all been together in a couple years. I'm really looking forward to it.
I also get to register for classes for BYU-Idaho on June 20th, so stay posted! I'll put what classes I sign up for on here in a few weeks when it's all figured out! I'm sooooo excited!! :) I probably also sound really super nerdy by saying this, but I can also reserve textbooks, and start looking into laptops and what not sometime soon! I even got some stuff for college a week or two ago! I have dishes, an owl mug that says, "Life's a Hoot!" and an owl garbage can that will go with me for the rest of my life. :) I have placemats, and several different organizational things that will really help. Along with the many generous gifts and donations given to me, I think the reality of leaving this fall is getting more real and real as each day passes. :)
I also just signed up for my housing in Winter Semester this next year. What's really funny, is that I'm on the same floor in Perkins Hall (same as Fall Semester), my roommates from Fall Semester will be just a few doors down from me, but also in different rooms, but the greatest part, is that my roommates names are Britt, Britta, and now, Brittany. :) It's going to be the "Britt" room! :) I thought it was really funny. Hopefully another Britt will join us! That would be really great! :)
