New Songs Come. Old Friends Go.

Tomorrow, one of my very good friends is leaving on her mission, and I will miss her so much! Even though after graduating from high school we haven't done very much, I miss being around her and her great personality and everything that she means to me. We did Cross Country in 9th grade together, and we bonded really well that year. We boosted each others self-esteem and we became the greatest of friends. We went to orchestra together, we made jokes together, we struggled through math together, and we had birthday parties together with chick flicks, homemade cards, and of course, chicken fettuccine alfredo. :) We did so much together, and I know that she will be an amazing missionary. The people of Baton Rouge, Louisiana will be extremely blessed to receive such an amazing young woman who knows and loves the gospel more than anything else.

I love you and will miss you so much Anne! I know you probably won't read this, but I wanted to let you know how much you mean to me--your influence does not go unnoticed, and the amount of spirituality you have is amazing for a girl of our age. I hope to be like Anne someday. She really is a woman to look up to and aspire to be like.

 So you might be wondering what the new songs that I've found are, since it's in the title of this post. Well, thanks to a friend, I'm HOOKED with this new band, called Caravan Palace. It's amazing music, and honestly, it makes homework go by so much faster. The only problem is, I want to listen to this music 24/7 and on full blast, it's that much fun to listen to. If you know anything about me, I'm crazy, I love it when music has the bass all the way up, and you can hear all the different intricate parts of the song. Well, this music has it all for me. I'm going to post some of my very favorite songs from this band for you to enjoy listening to.

Here is one I especially love to just crank up. If I was a spy or had a movie, this would be my theme song. :) It's called Cotton Heads. Funny, right? :) I LOVE IT!

This next one is called Sydney, and I really like it too. :)

We Can Dance--a song that easily gets stuck in your head. :)

This one is really catchy too. :)

This one is also pretty great! :)

I absolutely love this song! The beginning of the song reminds me of Mario for some reason or another. :)

I will give fair warning to this one, it can get kind of annoying, but it's a good song to cheer you up. :) Or just make you laugh. :)
